We can heartily recommend the Exabyte product line because we use The Exabyte VXA-3 PacketLoader here at SELLCOM to back up all of our computers because they are the best tape backup units we could find (really!).   Remember it is not a question of if any hard disk will fail it is a question of when.  We have the 1x10 1U set up here at SELLCOM and I have eight V23/X23 tapes in it (and one cleaning tape in slot 10 with it set to clean itself as needed.  I have it set to do a full backup once every couple of weeks and diff backups in between (a few times a week).
